Nina Dobrev made a striking appearance at the Golden Globe Nominees Night, turning heads in an off-shoulder gown with a ruched, corset-style bodice. The celebration, hosted by The Hollywood Reporter and Spotify, marked the introduction of the Golden Globes’ first-ever best podcast category and took place on January 8 at The Lot at Formosa in West Hollywood.
The actress dazzled in a fitted gown featuring lace detailing across the bodice, accented by subtle sparkle along the shoulder straps and neckline. The corseted top cinched neatly at the waist, flowing into a sleek, floor-length black skirt that gently flared at the hem. A delicate shimmer at the base of the bodice defined the transition between the structured top and the skirt, enhancing the gown’s elegant silhouette.
Dobrev styled the look with black pointed-toe heels and kept her accessories minimal, opting for diamond drop earrings and a diamond ring. Her dark hair was worn in loose waves with a soft side part, while her makeup remained understated with a nude lip and rosy blush.
Just a day earlier, on January 7, Dobrev shared moments from a night out in New York City on Instagram, where she attended the Broadway production of Chess to support her friend and lead actress Lea Michele. She chose a black high-neck minidress with long sleeves, paired with polka dot sheer tights and layered with a long black coat. Completing the look were knee-high boots, diamond drop earrings, a wristwatch, and a black shoulder bag with a silver chain.
Adding to her fashion momentum, Dobrev also embraced vintage couture at the same Nominees Night event, stepping out in a black-and-white Hervé Léger Fall/Winter 1997 couture design. The off-shoulder dress featured a sparkling drop waist that separated a white lace bodice embroidered with black floral details from a jet-black pencil skirt. Thick, gemstone-adorned bands highlighted the neckline and seams, while she finished the look with black leather pumps.
True to the original runway styling, Dobrev kept accessories minimal, wearing only diamond drop earrings and a diamond ring. Her hair was styled in soft waves, complemented by a nude lip and barely-there brows. As awards season unfolds, her recent appearances signal that vintage fashion moments are set to continue shining on the red carpet.
