Prabhas is gearing up for another big pan-India release as The Raja Saab prepares to hit theatres on January 9. The horror-comedy, directed by Maruthi, has already generated significant buzz through its advance booking performance, both in India and overseas.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, The Raja Saab has recorded impressive advance sales across formats. In the Telugu 2D market, the film collected Rs 2.38 crore from 84,894 tickets across 1,381 shows. The Hindi 2D version earned Rs 3.76 lakh from 3,688 tickets over more than 700 shows, while the Tamil 2D version registered Rs 12,070 from 77 tickets across 12 shows. Telugu Dolby Cine screenings brought in Rs 29,550 from 70 tickets across three shows, whereas Hindi Dolby Cine shows generated Rs 1.12 crore from 40,725 tickets over 1,519 shows.
Overall, the film has sold 1,29,454 tickets across 3,615 shows in India, grossing Rs 3.55 crore. When blocked seats are included, the advance booking figure rises to Rs 8.62 crore. Separately, Sacnilk also reported that the film has collected Rs 5.66 crore in advance sales in India, with 9,034 shows scheduled nationwide.
Overseas, The Raja Saab has shown strong momentum as well. As per Venky Box Office, the film collected $1,030,538 (Rs 9.27 crore) in advance bookings from the United States, selling 37,546 tickets across 1,784 shows at 526 locations. Reports suggest that the Prabhas-starrer is eyeing a Rs 65 crore opening.

The film also received relief on ticket pricing. The Telangana High Court overturned an earlier order restricting ticket price hikes, leaving the decision to the state government. Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh government capped ticket prices at Rs 1000 for paid premiere shows and allowed a hike of Rs 150 in single-screen theatres and Rs 200 in multiplexes for a period of 10 days from release.
Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory, along with IVY Entertainment, The Raja Saab stars Prabhas alongside Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, and Zarina Wahab. The film features music by Thaman S, cinematography by Karthik Palani, editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, and production design by Rajeevan.
